A New Calling
This weekend we had a life changing experience as Ricky was called to be the second counselor in our new Stake Presidency. It was a very sweet and humbling experience to meet with servants of the Lord. I am so proud of Ricky and know that he will serve with his whole heart and be the best counselor he can be. He will also be the bishop for a few weeks while they wait to call a new one. Crazy? Very!! My testimony was once again solidified of latter prophets and modern day revelation. I am excited to serve and support Ricky in this new endeavor!

Yes a great day! We are in good hands as a new stake. And my reslove is definitely strengthened by you Emily. You are a strong woman, a great friend, a fun mom, among many other things.
I remember the first time I saw your husband at church teaching sunday school. He was impressive to say the least. I wasn't the least bit surprised to see him put in as bishop, and again not surprised to see him in the stake.
WOW! That is so crazy. They always say that behind a great man there is a great women and I know that is true in this case. You are so amazing.

Oh my word! Seriously!?! He is the youngest person I have known to be in a Stake Presidency I think! That is so exciting and crazy! You guys are too amazing- Ricky should have not fulfilled his calling so well as bishop. ha ha! The people in your stake are super lucky to have you guys.
