Memorial Day Fun!!
We went with our friends the Bratt's to their cabin for the day and we had a blast.  We rode 4 wheelers, a dune buggy and and a little bit of horseback riding.  The day was beautiful and the views were breathtaking!
Silver Lake Reservoir.  Ellie and Burke loved being on the lake.  I tried it and actually loved it.  It was so relaxing- much to my surprise!

There are these huge bolders that the boys had fun exploring and climbing on.

Ready for lunch on the deck.
This is heaven to my children!
All they need is rocks and water and they could be happy for hours!  Bradley was so dirty!  I love watching them be kids and get dirty and love the outdoors!

Ashton loves animals and was so excited when he saw there were horses up there today.
Ellie is a natural and loves horses!  She wants one so bad.  She stayed firm in place when another horse was trying to kick her horse with its hind legs.  That's my girl!
This little dune buggy was a blast.  It was by far the older boys favorite thing of the day. We got muddy every time we hit a puddle and it was awesome!  I could barely get Brax out of it!  He was a good driver and took everyone for rides.  This is what they all want for Christmas!  So fun!!

Decorating Graves
I love Memorial Day.  It has always been a big day for my family.  My whole life we have gone to Wellington, Utah to decorate all of the Pinegar graves.  It has given appreciation and love for my ancestors and I still love hearing the stories of my great grandparents.  We don't go there as often now, and I have my grandparents graves to decorate.  On Sunday evening we went to Spanish Fork to my grandpa's grave.  I love that cemetery because there are so many flags for veterans there.  My grandpa passed away in August so this is the first year that he had a flag.  The kids were so excited to find his flag amid the sea of flags.

There is a ditch that runs the length of the cemetery and there was a tiny bit of water in it.  The kids had a ball playing in it.  I loved it because I use to do the same thing as a little girl.
We also went to the Orem Cemetery to my Nana's grave.  She died almost 13 years ago.  I love taking my kids here so that they can learn about her and know what she was like as we get together and talk about her.

Ashton is 6!
Ashton turned 6 two days after Brad turned 4.  He has been so excited and has had a long weekend since his surgery.  This is him with his birthday shoes which he hasn't taken off, I have to make him take them off to go to bed!

Ashton wanted Crepes for his birthday breakfast.  They are his absolute favorite!!

We had a family BBQ that night to celebrate his birthday and we had this yummy cake for both boys.  Ash was doing so well two days after his surgery.  He was off pain killers and back to his very active self.  The human body is amazing!!

Ashton's Ear Surgery- Round 3
Ashton had his 3rd surgery in 6 months on the 24th. He is such a trooper!  This time we were at the hospital so much longer; we were there for 10 hours!  We had a 2 hour wait after we got there, and then he was in surgery for about 3 1/2 hours, and then he was in recovery for just over 4 hours due to some problems with the morphine he was given.  The good news is that instead of stapleing his ear back on this time, they super glued it and it has made his recovery much less painful.  Ashton is such a brave boy and I am so proud of him!!

14 Ables' Grandchildren
Due to a family funeral, we got to be with Ricky's whole family for two days this week.  We all stayed at his parents and it was so much fun!!  I love this pic of all the kids!

I am having trouble with the new format so these are the pics from Brad's birthday and he and Ashton's together party.  The day of Brad's birthday was one of the busiest days of my life, but it was a great day!  We had his birthday, dance festival, preschool graduation, birthday lunch, Briar Rose came to play, birthday party, Ables and Livingston's came into town and we went to stay at Ricky's parents for a few days.  It was a great eventful day!!
The picture up top is Ash and his friend Nathan at the together party.
Bradley loving the slip n' slide.
Brad with his friends Konrad and Ezra.  This is his first friend party and he was so excited!!
 What's better than opening presents?
We ended up with perfect weather the day of the party and popsicle's were just right to cool off from the heat.  Cousin fun on the 4 wheeler.
The arrival of the Livingston's was the best part of the day!  We were all so excited they could make it.  We also got to have Uncle Ryan and Briar at all of our events today which made Brad's birthday.
Despite the fact that it was a little windy and cloudy, the kids had a ball swimming.  We had to make them leave after more than an hour.

Having so many cousins in town was such a special way to spend his birthday!
My pics loaded out of order which bugs me so bad!!  This was Brad eating his chosen birthday breakfast.  He could live on cereal!
All of the kids, minus Brax.
Random pic of Rick, Brig and Ryan.

FIRST SWIM OF THE SEASON!!
We have been dying to swim and we finally got our chance the day before Brad's birthday.  So fun!!

Spring Break Fun
The kids have been out of school all week and the beginning of the week was beautiful weather! We went up Provo Canyon one day to play.
The kids brought bikes and scooters to ride around the park. Brad went up and down the hills over and over on his scooter.

The kids loved playing in the river. Usually it is raging this time of year, but it wasn't today.

Ellie is the brave one in this family of men! She walked across the river which came up to her bumb and none of her brothers would even try to cross. She is awesome!!

The kids had so much fun in the sun this week. We have had no less than 2 water fights a day and sprinklers on the trampoline. They were in heaven. It was boy central at our house with all the neighbor boys over to have water gun wars. I love days like these, despite the mess it creates, I love watching all the kids have fun in the sun!

Brax, Burke, Max and Jason. They had so much fun together! Brax and Burke were thrilled to have Max over, as we don't see him very often anymore!
